Friendly, quick service from a family of employees that are community based. When you meet them on route or in the grocery store. Its like running into an old school mate.
The Clarkston Post office is located in a diverse community known for having a high concentration of immigrants.The staff is team oriented and work well together. They are also extremely courteous, helpful, accommodating and community friendly. The residents speak many languages and the postal workers treat each one with individual care and kindness. Even if this sometimes causes a delay, the service is well worth it. Besides, they are still faster than the PO in downtown Decatur. I really appreciate the staff and I wanted to take time to let them, the USPS Survey Team and the WorldWideWeb know that I believe our residents who are from around the world has on of the best post offices in the world. I order ink cartridges on eBay .Got the email delivered when I checked my mailbox it was not there.Driver put on wrong address when I reached mailbox i found my named envelope on trash somebody already took it .it was terrible this is not first time couple of month ago I order shirts driver put in wrong address l was Lucky that that was my neighbor she saw my name and address and bring it to me .
I go there every now and then JUST because it's close to work. The workers there are OOOOKKKK, they don't work as fast as they "should". I am not too fond of colored weaves they wear on their head- it's not professional, shiny nail polish on 3 inch fingernails- is a big no no. But I don't have much choice. USPS hires those kind of people that have "slower/lower" work ethics.
Sorry a** unprofessional delivery service, always getting false delivery notifications and always putting other people mail in my box... change staff of those that can read
